I can remember it like it was yesterday. Normally I would be sitting at my dining room table having coffee. But for some reason I woke up late that morning. I was just getting out of the shower when it hit. I was wet and ran to my bedroom just in time to catch my TV flying off of my dresser right into my hands as if it was meant to be. I put it back on the dresser and grabbed my robe, then realized I cannot get to my front door because of debris. So I looked toward the back sliding glass door and just stood in the doorway, hearing crashing all around me, windows blowing in, block walls falling down. last_img
