When I plated it up, I was pretty proud of what I have achieved, but it just so happened that one element of my dish caused me to be eliminated,” he said. The recent eviction has not left a bitter taste in his mouth. “I’ve just had the most unbelievable experience meeting some of my culinary icons- I’m an absolute foodie and the opportunity to meet these amazing international and national chefs has been an absolute treat.” Kritikides described the past few weeks as, “pretty intimidating” as the contestants improved upon their skills. “As the numbers dwindles, there’s that reality check that you’re getting closer and closer to the end and the competition just keeps getting hotter and hotter,” he said. “It’s hard not to say that Marion will win but I want to back the underdogs in Adam or Callum.” Kritikides reveals that he and his wife are in the progress of establishing a “little food business”, which he hopes to run parallel to his legal career. Whilst he won’t reveal the exact details of the business, he says that he will, “always stay true to his Mediterranean background.”last_img
